1. Keep challenge settings for all modules below 30%.
- This does not mean that a school cannot choose 10%, 15% or even 20% challenge percentage. We have done testing that shows anything higher than a 30% challenge percentage results in the students being challenged TOO often and they tend to stop using the system or will send in numerous complaints to their instructors/administrators.
2. Quiz challenge settings should be set to 0% and “Challenge on Entry” should be enabled.
- We absolutely want the student to verify their identity, but when it comes to a quiz (or test) that is timed, we are not looking to take any time AWAY from the student to verify their identity. So, we will verify their identity when they go to take the quiz (or test), but will not do so while they are actually testing to ensure they are given all the time available to them to complete the work.
